This biomarker measures whether the breast cancer cells have receptors for progesterone, another hormone that can stimulate the growth of some types of breast cancer. If the cancer cells have high levels of the progesterone receptor, they are considered "PR-positive." Patients with PR-positive breast cancer tend to have a better prognosis than those with PR-negative breast cancer.

HER2/neu status 

This biomarker measures whether the breast cancer cells produce too much of a protein called HER2/neu. If the cancer cells have high levels of HER2/neu, they are considered "HER2-positive." Patients with HER2-positive breast cancer tend to have a worse prognosis than those with HER2-negative breast cancer.
