The soft tissues (skin and muscles) and bones of one or more fingers can be seen with an X-ray right finger AP LAT test.

Why is it done? 

• To determine if one or more fingers have fractured and keep track of how well the broken bone is healing after it has been set.

• To identify any infection, deformities, abnormal bone growth, and arthritis (inflammation of the joints).

• Wear loose-fitting clothing. No preparation is needed.
