What is an X-ray Lumbar Spine Lateral View Test?

The lateral view is obtained from the side of the patient. It identifies persistent back pain, diseases, infections, slipped discs, tumors, osteoporosis, and osteoarthritis. It helps analyze birth defect-related aberrant spine curvature.

Why is it Done?
