Coccyx LAT X-Ray View displays the most distant portion of the spine in a lateral position. It is utilized alongside the AP projection. It is used to demonstrate the sacrum and coccyx anatomy and determine the reason for coccyx pain. The coccyx, commonly known as the tailbone, is a tiny, triangular bone found at the base of the spine that resembles a shortened tail.
