What Is PML-RARA Quantitative Test?

PML gene is located on chromosome 15 and RARA gene is located on chromosome 17. 

Translocation between these two genes results in PML-RARA gene. This mutation is also referred as t (15, 17).

The quantitative estimation of transcripts of PLM-RARA gene can be done using Real Time PCR.
