This test is advised by the doctor to find out the existence, location, and extent of the disease that causes nerve damage. It is helpful in finding the cause of symptoms such as numbness, tingling, and burning sensations in body parts. To check the muscle's function in response to nerve stimulus, NCV is performed with EMG.
During the NCV Lower Limbs test, the electrode patches are placed on the skin of the lower limbs to stimulate and record the electrical activities.
