MRI Kub With Urography

This imaging test examines patients suspected to have different kinds of abnormalities in kidneys, ureters and bladder. 

Why done?

MRI Urography detects major diseases in urinary tract. This imaging test provides anatomic and functional information on renal perfusion, excretion and drainage along with increased spatial and temporal resolution.

Procedure:

It is a radiation-free diagnosis. A highly sensitive scanner only uses magnetic waves to create detailed images of kidneys, ureters and bladder.  

How does one prepare for test?

Patients are advised to observe fasting as prescribed by the Radiologist. However, you need to drink as much as possible water before undergoing the test. Wear comfortable clothes and keep metal items outside to help creating better images.

* Personal ID for verification

After Care:

It is a normal test so you can soon start the routine life after leaving the scanner. Talk to the Radiologist if facing any kind of problem.
