Why Done?

This test is basically carried out to check narrowing and/or blockage of blood vessels in neck.

Procedure

Doctor might inject you with contrast dye before inserting in a tube like Magnetic Imaging Scanner. This highly sensitive machine will capture the images as contrast material makes veins easier to see.

How does one prepare for test?

* Wear comfortable clothes
* Remove metal items, eyewear and other objects before undergoing the test
* Talk to your doctor for additional information

Required Documents:

* You need to carry all documents along to provide details of medical history.
* Your technologist may also ask for verification document.

After Care:

Wait for some time after completing the test. Your Radiologist will assess the quality of images. Collect your report and go home to restart routine life.
