What is MRA INTRA CRANIAL VE?
An MRA Intracranial VE is a test of the head in which the blood vessels leading to the brain are examined to check for a bulge (aneurysm), a clot, or a narrowing (stenosis) because of plaque.
It is an imaging test done to gather information that would help in the diagnosis and prognosis of various intracranial abnormalities. It is done for the evaluation of patients' with acute and subacute brain infarction.

How does one prepare for test?
If you have any allergies, pregnant or nursing then you have to inform your technologist, radiology nurse and/or imaging physician. You should also inform about metallic implants like pacemaker, body piercing etc.
After the test, you are not restricted from any activity. You may eat and drink normally. However, if you were given any relaxation medication, you will need someone to drive you home.
