MR Venography Left Lower Limb With Contrast

This test is conducted to see deep and superficial veins of lower limb. This radiation-free examination uses strong magnetic field and radio waves to create detailed pictures of abnormal areas.

Procedure

You will be injected with the contrast material into your vein before inserting, in a highly sensitive imaging machine, on a narrows table. Scientifically generated magnetic field and radio waves will be used to capture detailed images. 

How does one prepare for test?

You may be asked to get the blood urea and creatinine test done before undergoing this test. Patients also need to remove metallic items from body and tell radiologist if there is any other considerable condition.
