The Procedure?

An MRI urography generates numerous pictures of a section of the region of your body being analyzed, comprising bones, soft tissues, and blood vessels, using X-rays. These photos are then transferred to a computer where they are swiftly reassembled into comprehensive 2D images.

How one is prepared for the test?

Fasting is necessary for at least 4 -6 hours before the MRI scan. One needs to wear loose and comfortable clothing. Metal accessories have to be removed before the scan. If you are under medication consult your doctor before the scan.
