MR Diffusion Study Prostate

This test systematically measures the molecular diffusion in biological tissues to create detailed report and get better insights for better treatment.

It specifically focuses upon evaluating random brownian motion of water molecules within a voxel of tissue and assess micro-architecture of the human body.  

Procedure

A highly sensitive machine collects relevant data to generate images while using specific MRI sequences. Machine uses different direction for each image. 

How does one prepare for test?

Keep all kinds of metallic items including jewellery, keys, dentures and other fashion accessories out of the machine. Confirm more details with your radiologist.

After Care:
