Leptospira Antibody IgM is a simple blood test that checks for antibodies against the Leptospira species in IgM-class antibodies. It is a bacterial infection caused by the bacterium Leptospira, found in soil. It can affect either humans or animals, and in tropical locations, rats are the most prevalent vector of transmission.
