Qualitative PCR reports the presence or absence of HCV in blood. Whereas, in Quantitative Real Time PCR the viral load is reported.
The values for quantitative PCR are reported as virus number and CT value. There is inverse relation between CT value and viral load. Interpretation of the result of HCV Quantitative PCR is done by doctor; consult your doctor after this test.
