Hepatitis B Envelope Antibody (HBeAb)

The hepatitis B e (Envelope) Antibody test is used to determine if someone has the hepatitis B virus (HBV). It's also done with other hepatitis B tests to see how long the virus has been present. People who have hepatitis B e Ag are more likely to spread the disease than people who don't have hepatitis B e Ag.

Your doctor can test this if you have a fever, tiredness, joint pain, dark urine, and pale stool. These are all signs of acute hepatitis.
