How is the Test Administered?

You will have a glucose screening test as the first step:

• You don't need to prepare anything or make any dietary changes.
• You'll be required to consume a glucose-containing liquid.
• An hour after enduring the glucose solution, blood will be taken to check your blood sugar levels.
• You cannot consume anything while taking the test.
• You will be instructed to eat a beverage containing 100 grammes of glucose.
• Before you sip the liquid and three more times every 60 minutes after you do, blood will be drawn.
