In this procedure you need to lie supine on a table and your arm is placed on the side and IV line is inserted into your arm and then dye is injected through an IV line and a scan is performed.
After completion of the scan, the IV line is removed from your arm. You need to drink a lot of water afterward for faster removal of contrast material.
