This test is used to detect the presence of the anti-dsDNA IgG antibody and is identified by IFA titer (Crithidia luciliae indirect fluorescent test [CLIFT]). CLIFT is advised explicitly for System lupus erythematosus (SLE). Most patients detected inactive SLE may be optimistic for anti-dsDNA IgG by ELISA but harmful by CLIFT.

  1. Anti- Neutrophil cytoplasmic Antibodies Test-

This test is often used to detect a type

of autoimmune vasculitis. There are different types of this disorder. These disorders cause swelling of the blood vessels of your body.

Procedure for Collagen Disorder antibody Test-

  • A band is tied around the arm, 3-4 inches above the superficial vein that lies within the elbow pit
  • The needle cap is removed and injected into the vein.
  • The required amount of blood sample is withdrawn slowly.
  • The band is removed, gauze is placed on the sample collection site, and the needle is removed
  • The container has an appropriate preservative/clot activator/ anticoagulant.
