1. Anti Jo-1 Antibody

This test is recommended as a  first-line test for the diagnosis of polymyositis or inflammatory myopathies. A positive result for the Jo-1 antibody indicates an increased risk of pulmonary involvement with fibrosis

1. Anti-ds DNA Antibody IFA titer-

This test is used to detect the presence of the anti-dsDNA IgG antibody and is identified by IFA titer (Crithidia luciliae indirect fluorescent test [CLIFT]). CLIFT is advised explicitly for System lupus erythematosus (SLE). Most patients detected inactive SLE may be optimistic for anti-dsDNA IgG by ELISA but harmful by CLIFT.

1. Anti- Neutrophil cytoplasmic Antibodies Test-

This test is often used to detect a type

of autoimmune vasculitis. There are different types of this disorder. These disorders cause swelling of the blood vessels of your body.

No special preparation is needed for this test. It is only recommended to inform your doctor about any medication that you take before the trial

Procedure for Collagen Disorder antibody Test-

• A band is tied around the arm, 3-4 inches above the superficial vein that lies within the elbow pit
• The needle cap is removed and injected into the vein.
• The required amount of blood sample is withdrawn slowly.
• The band is removed, gauze is placed on the sample collection site, and the needle is removed
• The container has an appropriate preservative/clot activator/ anticoagulant.
