Chromosome Analysis, Cord Blood test is a type of test that uses chromosome cells for the detection of certain genetic disorder. Through this test genetic abnormalities are found and studied. This test is also used to count the total number of chromosome present and any structural disability in it.
This test analyses chromosomes in 20 cells that are from umbilical cord blood. It is recommended to neonates for the detection of numerical and structural changes in DNA.
