CECT Nose (Contrast- Enhanced Computed Tomography of Nose) is an imaging procedure that uses an x-ray beam and contrast media to obtain images of the paranasal sinus. This scan is used to detect a variety of problems such as nasal polyps, fracture, inflammation, infection of the sinuses, fluid-filled sinuses, etc. For this scan, the radiologist will inject contrast material into the vein in the arm.
