What Is BCR-ABL1 Qualitative PCR?

BCR gene is located on chromosome 22 and ABL1 gene is present on chromosome 9 in humans. 

This test helps in detection of transcripts (RNA) of mutation BCR-ABL1, which results from fusion parts of BCR gene and ALB1 gene i.e. reciprocal translocation between chromosome 9 and chromosome 22.
