Types Of Elisa

ELISA tests can be divided into three types depending upon the different styles used for binding between antigens and antibodies-

Sandwich ELISA – Antibody is  carpeted on the microtiter well 

Competitive ELISA – Microtiter well, which is antigen-carpeted, is filled with the antigen-antibody admixture.

The procedure of Elisa -

It is one of the most accessible blood tests that can be carried out. It's rapid-fire, quick, and the case's blood sample. An alternate antibody specific to the primary antibody is added,  generally conjugated with an enzyme.  Eventually, the substrate is added. The enzyme converts the substrate to form a  multicolored , which a spectrophotometer can measure.
