The scanner is a doughnut-shaped device with an interior table that moves slowly. You recline on the table during a whole-body MRI scan as it moves around inside the tube. If it is less urgent, it should be deferred until later in her pregnancy life or say even until after the delivery. For this, you must consult with your respective doctor on a case-by-case basis to evaluate your reason and whether you should get a MRI scan or not.

For safety reasons as stated above, only patient is allowed to enter the exam room. It is request to not bring small children or any other family member with you during the scheduled examination.
