MRI of the right brachial plexus shows the nerve junction network (which connects to the knee, thigh, belly, calves, back, and groin) and its surrounding soft tissues.

The doctor orders this test to diagnose cancer development and detect discomfort, numbness, and paralysis in the lower back and legs.

Why is it done? 

• To detect cancer.
• Find out if the lower back and legs are hurting, numb, or paralysed. 
• To examine femoral neuropathy from trauma or abdominal surgery. 
• To find out if birth defects cause carcinomatous neuropathy or if it is present at birth.
