Leukocyte Adhesion :

It is a condition seen in children, and the patients of this disease survive for only five years of age if not treated well.

It is an inherited order that includes alteration in phagocytic cells. It is an immunodeficiency Disease.

This disorder is due to a deficiency of adhesive glycoproteins in the white blood cells. Leukocyte deficiency alters the response of granulocyte to exit the intravascular compartment.

Adhesion Deficiency is of different type:

Leukocyte Adhesion deficiency 2:

• Lack of carbohydrate ligands

Leukocyte Adhesion deficiency 3:

• Altered activation of beta A variety

Leukocyte Adhesion deficiency type 1:

• Lacks beta-2 integrin

• Absence of oud
• Necrosis
• Leukocytosis
• Umbilical cord detachment
• Low blood count
• Developmental Disorders

Leukocyte Adhesion Deficiency type -1:

In this condition, the body's immune response becomes weak. Various viruses and bacteria can invade the body with the immune system's zero response towards them.

Diagnosis of this disease:

This test tests the cohesive mess of the glycoproteins on WINce.

Flow cytometry is also used.

What is Flow Cytometry?

This is used for the detection of Tregs. It is a laser technique that helps in investigating the chemical and physical features of cells.

• Diagnosing the cell features
• Diagnosing the microbes

Procedure:

• The cells that are investigated are put in the fluid, and then it is treated with special dyes.
• These dyes help in attaching to antibodies
• The sample is suspended in the Flow Cytometer.
• The laser in the flow cytometer highlights the features of cells.
• These are then interpreted on a computer.
• Graphical data is made then
