The Hemophilia is known to be X-linked heritable coagulopathy which has an overall prevalence of about  1 in a 10,000 individuals. In case of hemophilia, the PTT level gets prolonged, but your PT and the platelet count are considered to be normal. The Factor VIII and the IX assays also tend to determine what  type and the severity there could be for hemophilia.
