What is Brucella?

Brucella is an infectious disease which is caused by the contact with an infected animal or milk products that contain the Brucella bacteria.

When the patient suffers from brucellosis, the body produces antibodies to combat the Brucella bacteria.

What is Brucella Antibody, IgM Test?

The Brucella Antibody test is a test which is conducted to measure level of Brucella AntibodyIgM in the bloodstream. The test is also seen to be performed to confirm the Zoonotic disease.

It is used during and also after the treatment of this disease. Zoonotic disease is a known to infectious disease that is transferred from the domestic animals present in the reservoir to human beings.
