NCCT Thumb Test

CT scans of the limbs can reveal more about bone and soft tissue structures than traditional X-rays. As a result, it can provide more information about injuries, infections, and masses, and it can be used to assess individuals who are experiencing discomfort, swelling, or damage. The CT Thumb and Hand procedure is used to examine the bony structure of the wrist and is frequently performed as a non-contrast examination rather than a contrast-enhanced examination. A CT wrist can also be used to assess ligamentous damage and the triangular fibrocartilage complex.
