MRI FACE PROCEDURE

A facial MRI scan is an imaging procedure that evaluates and detects many diseases and conditions involving bones, joints, and soft tissues in the facial area.

What is the procedure for MRI Face?

• The patient is positioned supine, head first.
• Place the head and neck coil on the head of the patient and use the cushions to keep the
• position intact.
• Provide cushions under the patient legs for comfort.
• Center the laser beam localizer at the tip of the nose.
