The Central Electricity Authority (CEA) is an overall power advisory body for both central and state governments. It was constituted in 1948, under the Sector 73 of the Electricity Act 2003. 

CEA is providing medical facilities to the employees of CEA and their dependent family members as enumerated in the medical prescription card issued by the CEA on CGHS Rate. The beneficiaries can avail of the benefits of medical facilities in the CEA-empanelled hospital/ diagnostic centers including Ganesh Diagnostic and Imaging Centre.
