What is an Ultrasound (USG) Upper Abdomen Test?

Ultrasound of the upper abdomen, often known as USG (Ultrasonography), is primarily employed to evaluate the kidneys, liver, pancreas, and gallbladder, among other organs.

The Upper Abdomen Ultrasound Test is also utilized to detect anomalies or distension in the kidneys, gallbladder, upper aorta, liver, and spleen. Therefore, it is safe for pregnant women because it does not use radiation.
